- Login to your GMC account.
- Go to My registration>>My account.
- Select the PLAB pathway or IMG 2 and proceed.
Now comes the part where you have to put in your Internship dates.
- Put in the dates as mentioned in your internship completion certificate.
- Mention each rotation separately.
- In India, we have the concept of pre-graduation internship (unlike most other countries). Make sure you select that option.
- You need to mention everything you did in the last 5 years or from the date of your graduation.
- Make sure to cover every date. Do not leave a gap. For ex, if your last entry was 10/8/2017, the next entry should be 11/8/2017. ( However, you are allowed a gap of 28 days in entire time period of 5 years)
- For Indians, start from the day you passed your final years MBBS.(Check the date on your passing certificate.)
- You need not mention each rotation of your internship separately here.
- If you were not doing anything, chose 'Other' and explain yourself. Some chose to put in 'Travelling'
- Put in all your employment details.
You now need to tell GMC about 'Your registration and licensing history'
- Chose your country name and select the one applicable to you.
- Indian graduates: Please select the name of your respective state medical council that you are registered with.
You are then asked a few more Yes/No type of questions and then proceed to payment. Check the GMC registration fee here.
You will now receive an email from GMC confirming your payment. It also gives you instructions on how and which documents to send them. You can read more about the documents required here.
